This full-time position within the Office of Black Student Success is dedicated to enhancing retention and progression among African Nova Scotian and Black learners. You will draw on your expertise in student development, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of community experiences. Collaboratively work with faculty, Student Supports, and community partners to address barriers that students face.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Early Alert support for at-risk students
• Monitor academic progress and engagement metrics




• Facilitate connections to academic and community resources
• Lead case conferences for holistic support planning
• Collaborate on retention initiatives and interventions

Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years of student support experience
• Lived experience in the African/Black community
• Proven analytical and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems
