This short-term role at Gwillimdale Farms lasts 6 to 8 weeks and seeks an experienced driver with a valid DZ license. Ideal candidates will have a background in farm driving, exceptional attention to detail, and a adaptable schedule. You will work closely with harvest machinery, ensuring safety and efficiency on the farm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate trucks during the farm’s harvest operations
• Collaborate with harvest machinery and systems
• Conduct thorough inspections on vehicles for safety
• Maintain and perform preventative measures on equipment
• Stay adaptable to changing work conditions and tasks
Requirements:
• Valid DZ license and 3+ years driving experience
• Clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory
• Background in heavy machinery operation preferred
• Experience driving an 18-speed manual truck
• Ability to lift 50 lbs while performing duties
