Senior Business Analyst

Contract Duration: 12-month contract to start
Location: Remote (within Canada, EST time zone)

Domain: Insurance, Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention

Main Deliverables

- Lead requirements elicitation and analysis for a large-scale, enterprise-grade regulatory web portal.
- Translate complex business policies, regulatory requirements, and operational processes into detailed functional and system requirements.
- Support the delivery of a greenfield digital transformation initiative focused on compliance, accessibility, governance, and fraud prevention capabilities.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise web application initiatives in highly regulated environments.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing extensive business and 1K+ policy requirements
- Robust understanding of governance,



compliance, risk, and auditability requirements.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies, insurance, financial services, public sector, or similar regulated industries.
- Experience with web accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG) and digital compliance requirements.
- Experience working within formal governance frameworks, including requirements governance, decision management, change control, compliance oversight, and stakeholder approval processes.

Responsibilities

- Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation, and management of business and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to capture and document massive policy, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and content questionnaires to define business needs.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and governance teams to support solution design and decision-making.
- Ensure requirements align with regulatory obligations, governance frameworks, and organizational objectives.
- Support the development of a modern, enterprise-scale web portal with a strong focus on user experience, compliance, and accessibility.
- Partner with project teams throughout the SDLC to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder alignment.
