We are looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced full-time nanny to join our family in Edmonton, Alberta!
We have a 2-year-old boy and are expecting a new baby boy in November. Our ideal nanny is someone who genuinely enjoys caring for young children and would like to become a trusted part of our family.
Position Details
Start date: Late October or early November
Schedule: Full-time, generally around 8/9 AM – 5/6 PM, potentially evenings
Hours: Some flexibility with the schedule is ideal
Pay: Approximately $20/hour, depending on experience/live in/live out
Live-in or live-out: We are open to either arrangement
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be childcare, initially focused mostly on our 2-year-old and eventually including our newborn.
Duties will include:
-Caring for and engaging with our 2-year-old
- Caring for our infant while the toddler is at dayhome
- Helping with the children’s daily routines, meals, activities, and general needs
- Light household tasks related to the family, such as:
- Washing dishes
- Tidying common areas
- Folding and putting away laundry
- General light housekeeping
Requirements:
- Previous childcare/nanny experience, particularly with toddlers and/or infants
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Comfortable around a house cat
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Reliable, responsible, patient, and nurturing
- Comfortable working independently
- Some flexibility with working hours is preferred
We are hoping to find someone who is warm, dependable, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. We are open to both live-in and live-out arrangements and would love to find the right person for our family.
