We are seeking an energetic and reliable individual to support our family in a range of activities. We have a 2, 7 and 9 year old. Start date: as soon as available Full time: Approximate hours are 130pm-8pm, Monday-Friday. Opportunity to increase hours starting in March 2027. Starting rate is 25$/hour, 3 month trial period and mileage compensation if personal vehicle is used to complete daily tasks during working hours. Duties include: - general support with 2 year old throughout the day (diaper/clothing changes, naps, potty training, playing...) - occasional support getting older kids to school: this includes preparing lunches and getting the older kids out the door.
- support getting kids to afterschool programs: this may include drop off/pick up and/or waiting during programs.
- periodically caring for older kids during school PD days/summer. This may include planning activities and outings (crafts, games, parks, walks, bike rides, visiting zoo/science centre...).




- meal prep (primarily dinner, some snacks and occasionally lunch). Whenever possible, we'd like the kids involved in meal prep and cleanup in the kitchen.- light housekeeping (supporting kids in cleaning up after activities, cleaning up kitchen after meal prep, occasional laundry) - while not a regular occurrence for our family, the right candidate must be comfortable working with sick children as cough and colds are unfortunately common during this age range. I intend to still be fully involved on the day to day basis with the kids and so will need someone who is comfortable working with me regularly and versatile with changing plans as the day presents itself.
