NOTE:
Hybrid working position in Windsor, ON 2-3 days per week with the potential to be fully onsite in the future
Must be willing and able to travel to the US for meetings without restrictions from first day of work
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating CAD solid models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques
Dictating architecture and construction techniques
Defining master template modeling structures
Specific design commodity exterior plastic parts
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or EE) or equivalent bachelors degree with experience
Self-starter, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle increasingly complex assignments without constant supervision
Plastic injection molding experience with exterior parts such as front and rear bumpers, grills, bracketry etc.
2+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX or other CAD systems ( Catia, Solid works etc.)
2+ Years of Solid modeling
2+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ Years of experience in exterior parts, plastic injection molding experience
5+ Years of CAD Solid modeling and Parametric Modeling with NX
COMPENSATION & ADVANTAGES:
$40.00 - $43.57/hour (depending on experience)
Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work
