This role involves providing exceptional assistance to seniors while ensuring safe transportation in a friendly environment. You will work 45 hours bi-weekly across two retirement communities, fostering relationships with residents and their families. This position requires a commitment to uphold seniors' rights and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport residents to scheduled outings and events
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle
• Foster positive relationships with residents and staff
• Attend training and staff meetings as needed
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Program
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong English communication skills
• Empathy and patience in interactions
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
