Aecon seeks qualified Traffic Control Technicians for the 2026 construction season. In this role, you will set up and monitor work zones to ensure roadway safety, using tools such as signage and cones. Your expertise in traffic management will help create a secure environment for both crews and the public, making your role vital to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety compliance and implement work zone regulations
• Set up and dismantle traffic control devices
• Operate vehicles, including trucks with trailers
• Conduct traffic inspections and create reports
• Manage flagging activities for protected vehicle direction
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of traffic control experience
• Valid Class 5 Non-GDL License required
• Clean 3-Year Driver’s Abstract mandatory
• Ability to withstand outdoor conditions
