Job Title: Microsoft Power Platform Administrator

Job Summary
Cogency Inc. is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Administrator to manage and support enterprise Power Platform environments, Azure infrastructure, security controls, networking, and identity services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for platform administration, workplace management, security and governance, connectivity, and integration support across Microsoft technologies. This role will work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise platform.
Key Responsibilities
Power Platform Administration
- Administer and manage Microsoft Power Platform environments across development, testing, and production.
- Manage Power Platform environment settings, tenant configurations, connectors, and access controls.
- Configure and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and governance controls.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, and environment utilization.
- Support Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Power Platform services.
- Manage environment lifecycle, security roles, permissions, and platform configurations.
- Troubleshoot platform, connectivity, authentication, and integration issues.
Azure Administration & Cloud Infrastructure
- Administer Microsoft Azure environments supporting enterprise applications and Power Platform services.
- Manage Virtual Networks (VNets), networking, connectivity, and security controls.
- Support hybrid cloud architectures and connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments.
- Configure and manage identity and access management within Azure.
- Support Azure security, monitoring, access policies, and infrastructure controls.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on cloud architecture and platform requirements.
Windows & Application Administration
- Administer and support Windows Server environments.
- Support .NET application hosting, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Manage application connectivity, service accounts, authentication, and enterprise integrations.
- Support application environments across development, test, and production.
Identity, Security & Integration
- Manage enterprise authentication and authorization requirements.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of authentication protocols and identity services.
- Support API connectivity, enterprise integrations, and application-to-application communication.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and authentication issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement security controls aligned with enterprise policies and standards.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Support administration and integration of Microsoft 365 services.
- Work with enterprise identity services and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Support user access, authentication, permissions, and integration requirements.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365, security,
and infrastructure teams on enterprise platform initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration, Platform Administration, Infrastructure Administration, or Cloud Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience managing:
- Power Platform environments
- DLP policies
- Connectors
- Tenant settings
- Security roles and controls
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure administration and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Virtual Networks (VNets)
- Networking and connectivity
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Azure security controls
- Hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience administering Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of .NET application hosting and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, enterprise integrations, APIs, and connectivity patterns.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise identity services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Power Platform Administrator certification.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Experience with Azure networking, Private Endpoints, VNets, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity.
- Knowledge of Power Platform governance and environment lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft security tooling.
