Hi!We are a family of three looking for an experienced nanny to help out occasionally with our daughter, who turns one in July.Myself and my husband both work from home, however, we are looking for a kind, attentive and energetic individual who can provide part-time care for our daughter two to three days a week for roughly five hours from 11 a.M. to 4 p.M. as my maternity leave ends in July.Sample activities and duties include: changing and feeding/preparing healthy meals as per our direction (we are happy to provide lunch for you, too), taking her on walks and/or to the park or other nearby outings like the library, reading and playtime, and putting her down for her afternoon nap. This is a live-out position. Please note that you should be comfortable carrying baby up and downstairs to and from the nursery for changing purposes. We are also a screen-free family, and would expect this person to be mindful and respectful of this (no visible phone activity while interacting with our daughter or exposing her to your phone). We're very big on creating a hands-on, stimulating environment through music, reading, and play, whether that's water activities, stacking, sing-a-longs, etc.Preference will be given to those with an educational background in formal childcare.



You must have the following and be willing to show proof of your credentials:-A recent criminal background check, and ideally a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)-Infant and child CPR certification with training in basic first aid, CPR, choking and emergency response-Proof of legal eligibility to work in Canada-Two to three references of past families whose children you have cared for-Government issued photo ID-A valid driver's license (we don't expect you to go on major outings, but in case of emergency, this is nice to have).We are offering $25 per hour for the right candidate who is experienced, trustworthy, and passionate about working with infants, especially those who know how to provide a screen-free, stimulating workplace for our curious girl, who loves being outdoors, seeing animals, going on the swings, going for stroller walks, and splashing in her pool.
