CiviCorp Excavation Inc. is a growing civil construction contractor specializing in excavation, earthworks, and site development across Nova Scotia. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field crews and help keep daily site operations running safely and efficiently. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers safely and efficiently on civil construction sites. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance, and report any issues to the supervisor. Maintain awareness of surroundings, crews, and site conditions at all times. Coordinate with the Foreman and ground crew using hand and radio signals. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience





Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience. Class 5 valid driver's licence. Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform repetitive tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a crew. Heavy Equipment Operator certification is an asset.
