This position works within the Finance and Administration team providing support in accounting and office services. Responsibilities
- Perform general office / reception duties including ordering office supplies, answering phones, greeting customers and processing payments
- Process accounts payable with accurate job coding of invoices, purchase order matching and cross referencing to receiving reports
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger at end of month to ensure all invoices have been appropriately posted and are ready for payment processing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- 2+ years experience in an office environment and/or some accounting training
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidential information in valuable standing
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in preparing financial information
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs
- Mature, professional, and optimistic attitude
- Highly adaptable, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Service and team-oriented
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
