St. Francis Junior High School is seeking a dedicated Education Assistant for 28 hours per week starting on 25 August 2026. Candidates should have experience working with students with special programming needs and the ability to assist with personal care tasks. You will play a key role in fostering an inclusive learning environment under the guidance of the Inclusive Education Lead and classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assist students with complex needs in educational activities • Provide support for personal care and toileting tasks • Collaborate with teachers and supervisors for effective support • Maintain confidentiality while working with students’ information • Engage actively with students to promote learning

Requirements: • Education Assistant Certificate or equivalent education • Minimum one year of experience with special needs education • First Aid training is required • Knowledge of ASL is an asset • Experience with augmentative communication systems
