As a Community Crisis Worker III, you will partner with nurses and mental health workers to deliver essential crisis intervention services. Key responsibilities include conducting client intakes, managing follow-up interactions, and engaging with the community through education. The position requires advanced education in health or social sciences and one year of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Function as Mobile Crisis Unit intake and dispatcher • Provide follow-up crisis intervention contacts • Prepare summaries for client care-planning meetings • Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments • Assist in creating client goal plans and supporting interventions
Requirements: • Advanced education in health or social sciences • One year of experience in mental health or social service • BCLS and First Aid certifications • Proficiency with Windows-based programs • Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License
