IREN Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain essential systems, including diesel generators and cooling systems, in a rapidly expanding workplace. This position reflects your experience with complex troubleshooting in industries such as mining, rail, or industrial power generation. You will contribute directly to the uptime and efficiency of mission-critical data centers in support of sustainable computing practices.

Key Responsibilities:



• Install and maintain diesel generators and mechanical systems • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on infrastructure • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions • Collaborate with other teams to achieve operational goals • Document maintenance activities and technical findings

Requirements: • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification • Experience with diesel generation and mechanical infrastructure • Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations • Valid Class 5 driver’s license • Ability to pass a criminal record check
