Rebalance Rehab is seeking a dedicated Kinesiologist to serve the geriatric community in Abbotsford. This position involves developing and implementing rehabilitation programs in long-term care settings and through in-home visits.
As a full-time, permanent Kinesiologist, you'll play a vital role in improving the lives of elderly clients while enjoying the support of a cooperative team environment. You'll be responsible for tailoring rehabilitation programs to help clients meet their functional goals, either independently or with physiotherapy collaboration. Rebalance Rehab offers a unique chance to connect with your clients beyond the clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs • Collaborate effectively with Physiotherapists and other team members • Conduct in-home sessions for flexible client support • Engage with clients at two long-term care facilities • Build sustained relationships with clients over time
Requirements: • Degree in Kinesiology required • Certification from the BC Association of Kinesiologists • Minimum one year of kinesiology-related experience • Valid BC driver’s license essential for schedule • Experience with physical rehabilitation is beneficial
