Position Overview

Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver is currently seeking a Parts Shipper& Receiver to join our Parts Department. This role reports directly to theParts Manager and plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate, timely, andefficient flow of parts and accessories that support dealership operations andan exceptional customer experience.

The Parts Shipper & Receiver is responsible forreceiving, storing, and distributing parts accurately while supporting bothinternal service teams and external customers. This position contributes to theoverall efficiency of the dealership by maintaining inventory integrity,supporting parts sales, and upholding Dilawri’s standards of excellence,teamwork, and customer service.

The expectedannual salary for this position is$47,757.59

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming partsshipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition
- Report shipment discrepancies, shortages, ordamaged items promptly and take appropriate corrective action




- Expedite received parts to appropriate PartsAdvisors and internal departments
- Label parts accurately with proper part numbersand ensure correct binning and storage
- Monitor and update part number changes andadjust inventory locations as required
- Identify and process special-order parts andnotify the appropriate department or customer
- Perform customer follow-ups on special-orderparts to ensure timely communication and satisfaction
- Provide product information and promote partsand accessory sales to customers
- Maintain adequate inventory of batteries,boutique items, and accessories displays
- Assist internal and external customers at theparts counter and over the phone
- Support general housekeeping of the partsdepartment, including stockroom organization and inventory replenishment
- Act as a backup to Parts Advisors when required
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications Required

Education & Experience

- Highschool diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previousexperience with automotive parts, inventory management, orshipping/receiving preferred
- Workingknowledge of parts inventory operations and procedures
- Strongcustomer service skills with the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Excellentorganizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-pacedenvironment
- Highlevel of attention to detail and accuracy
- Abilityto work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines
- Proficientcomputer skills, including MS Office, Internet applications, ADP, andElectronic Parts Catalogs (EPC)
- Strongverbal and written communication skills
- Abilityto work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Legallyentitled to work in Canada
