The Seasonal Airfield Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Airfield Maintenance Foreman. Key responsibilities include operating diverse equipment for snow removal, maintaining grounds, and performing wildlife checks. The role also requires participation in training programs and compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy and medium equipment for snow and slush removal
• Perform winter and summer maintenance of airport grounds
• Maintain records and safety reports consistently




• Use chainsaws and various hand tools for landscaping
• Assist with emergency response and airport events
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence, Class DZ
• Ability to obtain Radio Operator's Certificate within 30 days
• Previous airside operations experience is an asset
• First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certifications preferred
• Clear Criminal Record Check required
