Shape transformative learning experiences at OFIFC as an Anti-Racism Education Specialist. Focus on developing and delivering educational programs that address anti-Indigenous racism and support learner engagement.
This role requires expertise in both instructional design and delivery. You will assess, create, and evaluate educational initiatives aimed at dismantling systemic racism. With a commitment to Indigenous perspectives and trauma-informed approaches, you’ll work collaboratively with peers and industry stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop learner-centered curricula for workshops • Implement diverse teaching methods in educational settings • Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback • Collaborate with community stakeholders to enhance programs • Maintain professional growth and instructional competencies
Requirements: • Master’s degree in Indigenous Studies or equivalent • 2 years of teaching experience in adult education • Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and community issues • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems • Robust facilitation and communication skills
