Become a Health Care Aide at Extendicare’s Red River Place LTC in Selkirk, Manitoba. This part time role involves providing essential personal care and emotional support to residents.

You will be under the guidance of the Director of Health & Wellness and expected to adhere to all regulatory standards and Extendicare’s policies. Ideal candidates will have graduated from a Health Care Aide program and have a passion for serving seniors in the community. You will assist residents with personal care and daily living, while also observing and reporting any significant changes in their conditions.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance • Report observations to supervisors for resident care • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents • Facilitate safe resident movement and mobility • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all

Requirements: • Must be a graduate of a recognized program • Previous experience in senior care is essential • Excellent communication and organizational abilities • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is advantageous • Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory
