We’re hiring 2 full time line cooks at Joe’s on the Beach, our year-round beachfront restaurant in Davis Bay, Sechelt. This is permanent work, not a summer gig: 30 to 40 hours a week, evenings and weekends in the mix, on a line that serves steaks cooked to order, fresh seafood and raw oysters, with a menu that changes often. We do events, catering and weddings, so there’s room to grow across stations. If you can hold a station through a busy service, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities: prepare and cook menu items during service on grill, saute, fry and cold stations; prep and set up your station before service; follow recipes, portioning and plating standards; keep a clean,



organized and food-safe station; communicate clearly with the kitchen team during busy service; help with prep, receiving and cleaning as part of the kitchen rotation. Qualifications: about 1 year of commercial kitchen experience; comfortable with allergy and gluten-free protocols (we serve many celiac guests); FOODSAFE Level 1 an asset, and we pay for the course if you need it.

21.00 to 25.00 per hour, based on experience, plus tip pool
