Percepta Talent helps (companies and individuals navigate talent acquisition and mobility). We're looking for a licensed RCIC to lead and manage immigration files with accuracy, integrity, and a client-first approach.
Role Overview
The RCIC will provide authorized immigration advice and representation to clients, managing cases from assessment through to final decision. This is a client-facing role requiring strong regulatory knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide authorized immigration advice and representation to clients under IRCC and CICC regulations
- Assess client eligibility for various programs (Express Entry, PNP, work permits, study permits, family sponsorship, LMIA-based applications, etc.)
- Prepare, review, and submit immigration applications accurately and on time
- Represent clients before IRCC, CBSA, and relevant tribunals as authorized
- Stay current on changes to Canadian immigration laws, policies, and program requirements
- Maintain detailed, compliant case records and documentation
- Communicate case status, timelines,
and requirements clearly to clients
- Ensure full compliance with CICC's Code of Professional Conduct
- Collaborate with internal teams on client onboarding and process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Active RCIC membership in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) — mandatory
- Completion of an accredited Immigration Practitioner Program (or equivalent recognized credential)
- Valid Errors & Omissions (E&O;) insurance, or eligibility to obtain it
- Proven experience managing a range of immigration application types
- Strong knowledge of IRPA, IRPR, and current IRCC programs and processing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational/case-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIC-IRB designation (for tribunal representation)
- Experience with employer-based/corporate immigration and LMIA files
- Multilingual ability
- Familiarity with immigration case-management software
