Your focus on ground control and rock mechanics will be vital for optimizing underground operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership for underground geotechnical activities • Develop and implement the Ground Support QA/QC Program • Review and adapt excavation designs for stability • Monitor excavation performance and mitigate risks • Facilitate geotechnical training for site personnel
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline • 8-10 years of industry experience in underground mining • Professional Engineer registration in Ontario preferred • Robust expertise in rock mechanics and excavation stability • Familiarity with geotechnical monitoring techniques
