Reporting to the Chief Engineer, your responsibilities include ensuring equipment reliability and adhering to safety regulations. Your experience with high-pressure water tube boilers and boiler auxiliaries, combined with your proactive troubleshooting skills, will underpin the operational efficiency of the plant. This is a pivotal role aimed at fostering a safe and effective working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers and compressors
• Perform thorough boiler water testing protocols
• Troubleshoot utility systems and perform necessary maintenance




• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures
• Assist with additional plant operational duties as required
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario 3rd Class Operating Engineer's Certificate
• Previous experience with high-pressure water tube boilers
• Mechanical maintenance expertise in industrial settings
• Ability to lift heavy loads, up to 50 lbs
• Committed to the use of safety equipment and PPE
