Overview The Group Annuity Pricing team is looking for a senior staff member to help lead the strategy and management of reinsurance and in-force business for the Canadian group annuity business. This position will work with external reinsurers on large, complex transactions as well as developing processes and tools required to manage in-force business.What will you do?Build and lead high-performing teams by establishing ambitious goals and fostering an inspiring, team-oriented work environmentMeet sales and bottom-line targets while maintaining strong client relationships and negotiate contracts with plan sponsors and consultantsDevelop and strengthen reinsurance partnerships and internal cross-functional relationshipsLead the development and implementation of innovative reinsurance pricing solutions for our group annuity block of business, oversee contracting, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination with Risk and Operations partners to ensure successful transaction implementationContribute to strategic planning and explore emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, to enhance our offeringsStay current with global longevity trends through research, industry webcasts, and market analysisWhat will you need to succeed? Must HaveBachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or accountingFSA/FCIA designation or ASA with equivalent combined education and experience10+ years of life insurance and/or reinsurance experience in pricing or product development or knowledge of Group Annuity, Reinsurance, and/or IFRS17Strong actuarial modelling and technical skills,
