Nimkee Nupigawagan Healing Centre is seeking a Learning Facilitator to provide dynamic educational programming for residential youth. The educator will focus on cultural integration, real-life applications, and adaptive teaching, ensuring the curriculum resonates with each young person’s strengths and needs. Collaborating with Educational Assistants and Cultural Staff, you will support youths’ academic and emotional development in a nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:



• Plan and deliver individualized educational programming based on the Ontario curriculum • Integrate First Nations culture and traditional knowledge into lessons • Create practical learning experiences connecting academics with life skills • Support youth navigating educational disruptions and emotional challenges • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance learning outcomes

Requirements: • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution • Experience with the Ontario curriculum • Strong cultural competency and interpersonal skills • Ability to adapt teaching for diverse learning needs • Valid driver's licence and commitment to community activities
