This position reports to the Supervisor – Mining and is crucial for maintaining workflow and safety on site. Working under a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation, you will handle the operational aspects of heavy equipment, conduct safety checks, and ensure adherence to all organizational standards. This role suits those dedicated to high-quality work and safety compliance in a mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate mass excavators and other machinery
• Load materials onto haul trucks efficiently
• Carry out pre-operational inspections
• Maintain a clean and secure work area
• Participate in safety training and meetings
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of equipment operation experience
• Knowledge of safety protocols in mining
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
