Handling a reverse flow renewal portfolio within the framework of our underwriting guidelines Handling incoming new risks from other HDI offices requiring locally admitted paper Building and maintaining strong broker and client relationships Working closely with other HDI offices globally Ensuring proper file documentation and accuracy of policy documents Representing HDI at industry events to strengthen market presence and broker relationships Your Profile (Skills, Qualifications & Experience)
Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in property and casualty Solid technical knowledge of property & casualty wordings Post-secondary education (college or university) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook French and/or German language skills are considered an asset Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-motivated Positive, growth-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task Completion of or actively pursuing insurance courses would be an asset Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment What We Offer
