Educational Assistant atPeace Regional Outreach Campus . This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and continue until June 29, 2027. The successful candidate will be working with students in a high school setting. Peace Regional Outreach Campus is located in the town of Peace River. The school serves students in Grades 10-12. A complete high school program is offered in a highly supportive, self-directed and flexible learning workplace. Peace River is a town in northwest Alberta. It is along the banks of the Peace River at its confluence with the Smoky River, the Heart River and Pat's Creek. It is approximately 486 kilometres northwest of Edmonton and 198 kilometres northeast of Grande Prairie on Highway 2. For more information on the town and what it has to offer, click here . Qualifications: Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent. Experience and/or training working with student in school setting. Ability to work with high school aged students, skills level, needs and abilities Skills: Willingness to be part of a learning team, take direction and follow programs without direct supervision. Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning and complex learning needs. Ability to be flexible to the changing classroom environment and individual child needs Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records. Good communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers. This is a union position under the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division. Rate of Pay: $22.59 to $28.02 per hour(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
