Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement individualized recreation plans • Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and groups • Conduct assessments of patient needs and progress • Ensure thorough documentation of patient interactions • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to enhance care
Requirements: • Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies focused on Therapeutic Recreation • Good standing with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario • 1 to 3 years of experience in therapeutic settings • Basic Rescuer Certificate in Cardiac Life Support • Robust communication, analytical, and planning skills
