This part-time role includes preparing and serving meals, cleaning serving areas, and assisting cooks with food preparation. You'll also participate in ensuring dietary supplies are well-stocked and properly labeled. This position requires following safety and infection control guidelines as you work to enrich residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food according to individual diets and preferences
• Assist in preparing simple foods and salads
• Transparent plates and operate the dishwasher
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of food supplies
• Participate in facility meetings and ongoing education
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads
• Open availability for shifts, including weekends
