Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is currently seeking a contract

Gas Analysis Administrator

for a 1 year term based in their downtown Calgary office.

Key Accountabilities:

First point-of-contact for Protrend, support and training for staff including the field, production accounting and operations.

Subject matter expert for fluid analysis, sampling processes and Protrend application

Coordinating and administering oil and gas sample scheduling, validation, and distribution processes to ensure compliance with both internal processes and external Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan regulatory protocols.

Manage system processes including laboratory imports, analysis validation, lab analysis audits and exports to various required systems

Analyzing schematic drawings to identify sample points, metering and opportunities for cost savings.

Manage third party analysis procedures including scheduling, setup, validation/review and communication of any issues/concerns to respective parties

Supporting software issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

3+ of industry oil and gas Fluid Analysis Administration experience with Protrend is required

Quick learner, strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills with good attention to detail

Heavy Oil, Conventional, and Upstream Oil and Gas industry knowledge required

Post-secondary degree/diploma

Robust Excel spreadsheet

Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. With the ability to manage large datasets, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables

Basic knowledge of chemistry an asset

Experience with Petrinex software and production accounting would be an asset.

Post-secondary degree/diploma

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions and are subject to background checks including criminal and drug and alcohol testing.
