Manitoulin Transport is seeking qualified owner operators to partner with our established logistics network in Kamloops. Successful candidates will utilize their current model trucks while operating under our National Safety Code and Fleet Insurance Program. Adaptable availability is required, as services will span five nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver freight following all regulatory requirements • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of equipment • Load and unload freight as needed for dock services • Operate within service contract standards • Ensure WCB coverage for all operations
Requirements: • Class 1 license with 1 year of experience • Mechanically fit, ELD-compatible truck, 2018 or newer • Valid criminal record check and driver's abstract • Forklift ticket and deck experience are assets • Must have current ICBC insurance
