Stationed at 1011 Lansdowne Ave, you will work with clients who have faced homelessness, providing crisis intervention and life skills support. Your experience in navigating social services and community resources will prove invaluable in this challenging yet rewarding role. Ideal candidates should be proactive and culturally aware.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and explain available services
• Provide life skills coaching and emotional support
• Engage in regular resident interactions for stability
• Refer clients to essential community services
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress
Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 years in direct social services
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
• Experience with Indigenous communities is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
