Be part of Trans Mountain’s impactful pipeline operations as a Contract Project Controls Analyst based in Calgary. This role requires expertise in cost budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for major projects.
In this contract position, you will utilize your skills to improve project oversight across Canada’s only dedicated oil pipeline system. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of seven years’ experience in project controls within the energy sector. You’ll drive financial performance by overseeing detailed reporting and cost management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and monitor in-house and third-party project budgets • Conduct variance analysis and maintain cost forecasts • Lead resource management and allocation planning • Generate detailed reports on budget performance and workforce metrics • Ensure effective collaboration in monthly resource review meetings
Requirements: • Educational background in Project Management, Finance, or similar • Minimum of 7 years in project controls or resource planning • Expertise in budget forecasting and cost tracking methods • Proficiency in Work Breakdown Structures and capital cost management • Robust analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
