Support clients with complex needs as a Social Worker I at the Department of Social Supports and Well-Being. This role focuses on assessments, counselling, and navigating support systems in a team environment.
In this position, you will report to the Client Services Manager and work alongside a multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities include interviewing clients, providing counselling support, and collaborating with community partners. Your expertise in completing Bio/Psycho/Social assessments will help identify client needs and connect them with appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities: • Interview clients to assess individual needs • Provide counselling support and referral services • Coordinate services between various agencies • Collaborate with community stakeholders • Assist clients in pursuing child support procedures
Requirements: • Bachelor of Social Work degree completed • Clinical social work experience required • Experience in Bio/Psycho/Social assessments • Knowledge of skilled social work practices • Registration with NLCSW needed
