As part of the Operations & Safety division, you will be crucial in monitoring fleet performance and adhering to maintenance regulations. The Equipment Officer role encompasses developing work criteria for major equipment overhauls and leading design recommendations for new fleet acquisitions, ensuring optimal operations.

Key Responsibilities: • Define requirements for procurement of fleet equipment • Suggest designs for current locomotives and coaches • Create and implement maintenance schedules • Chair major modifications of equipment • Assist maintenance contractors with technical queries

Requirements: • Diploma in related Engineering Technology field • Proven experience in railway operations and maintenance • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings • Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s licence • Microsoft Office Suite experience, PowerBI is a plus
