Become a Peer Supporter in the Crisis Stabilization program at Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. Utilize your lived experience in addiction recovery to provide emotional and practical support to individuals in crisis.

This full time, 12-month contract role requires in-depth knowledge of mental health and substance use issues. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate support while helping participants achieve their wellness goals. Your involvement fosters a sense of hope, encouraging clients towards stable community living.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide personalized support based on lived experience • Assist clients with crisis management and resource navigation • Facilitate psycho-education and support group sessions • Monitor the stabilization environment and client health • Engage in conflict resolution as needed

Requirements: • Lived experience of addiction and recovery • Post-secondary education in social services or related field • Crisis management and outreach experience • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle • Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certification
