Kernaghan Adjusters seeks an Experienced Adjuster dedicated to providing top-tier customer service. Utilize your skills in a role that combines investigation, negotiation, and reporting to excel in the claims adjusting process.
In this position, you will report to the VP of BC Operations and will be responsible for investigating claims and evaluating the damages incurred. Your expertise will allow for effective negotiations with insured and claimants, all while ensuring a rigorous adherence to policy coverage and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and assess damages for claims
• Draft detailed reports and communicate findings effectively
• Review claims-related skilled reports
• Authorize or deny claims based on comprehensive evaluations
• Negotiate settlements in collaboration with principals
Requirements:
• Minimum one-year adjusting experience required
• Possession of or eligibility for Level 1 or 2 Insurance Adjuster License
• CIP designation or actively pursuing it
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
