As part of the S&R; Group team, your role as a Maintenance Worker is crucial in keeping our Home functional and welcoming. You will engage in various maintenance activities like plumbing, electrical repairs, and more, prioritizing tasks as per the Home's needs. Ensuring compliance with safety standards is a key part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the building
• Prioritize tasks based on Home requirements
• Maintain logs and records of performed work
• Monitor for safety issues and take appropriate action
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of building and fire codes in long-term care
• Availability for emergency call-ins
• Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check
• Updated TB 2 Step within the last year
