Join Our Place Society as an Occupational Health and Safety Manager dedicated to implementing OHS programs and ensuring workplace safety standards. Collaborate with leadership to foster a safe and compliant work environment.
In this full-time position, you will report to the Manager of Human Resources and be responsible for the development and improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety program. Key skills include working with WorkSafeBC, compliance with safety regulations, and training staff across the organization. Your team-oriented efforts will support a culture of safety and wellness for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Health & Safety programs per WorkSafeBC standards
• Conduct health & safety training for all staff and supervisors




• Analyze incidents to maintain compliance and enhance safety
• Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports
• Develop and update safety procedures and risk assessments
Requirements:
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent education
• Minimum 2 years of related Health & Safety experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong ability to lead and mentor safety committees
