Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Burlington, ON | 100% On-Site

$75,000-$85,000 + up to 6% bonus

We are seeking an EHS Specialist to support the development and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental and training programs within a manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Coordinate corrective and preventative actions
- Deliver safety training including WHMIS, orientations and emergency response
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and ergonomic assessments
- Maintain EHS documentation, records and safety metrics
- Support ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 compliance and audits
- Participate in safety committees, emergency drills and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support environmental,



waste reduction and sustainability programs

Requirements:

- 2-5 years of EHS/Safety experience , preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of Ontario OHS and environmental regulations
- Experience with safety training and incident investigations
- ISO 14001/45001 and/or SQF experience is an asset
- Strong communication, organization and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- College education preferred; High School Diploma required
