CEDA is seeking a motivated Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic for immediate employment. You will gain hands-on experience with complex equipment while learning from skilled Journeymen in the shop. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on various trucks and equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and replace defective parts




• Attend service calls in the field as needed
• Participate in daily safety meetings and learn from experienced mechanics
Requirements:
• Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician or higher
• Valid class 5 Driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Class 1 or 3 license is an asset
• Experience with hydraulic and pump systems preferred
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
