Startec Compression & Process is hiring an Experienced Benchfitter in Calgary, AB. Play a key role in the fabrication of piping systems while adhering to safety standards.

In this position, you will work under the Spooling Supervisor at the Shepard Shop, focusing on interpreting technical drawings and producing high-quality spools. With your strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in pipefitting, you will troubleshoot and create optimized piping solutions for compression and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities: • Interpret customer and company drawings effectively • Fabricate spools and spool sections to specifications • Align and tack weld piping sections • Conduct inspections to verify quality and alignment • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements: • Preferred Journeyman Pipefitter certification • Minimum 2 years in bench fitting roles • Knowledge of pipe materials and fabrication techniques • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities • Solid physical condition for manual work
