Join the City to lead Environmental Health and Safety initiatives as a Field Representative. Deliver training, conduct assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance from Monday to Friday.
This full-time role involves overseeing programs that promote safety and compliance across various divisions. As a critical member of the team, you will design safety training, conduct risk assessments, and implement strategic programs to improve health and safety standards. You'll also engage with stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure best practices and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead fire and life safety training for diverse audiences • Evaluate participants' skills and conduct risk assessments • Develop and implement divisional health and safety programs • Conduct workplace inspections and accident investigations • Prepare analytical reports on compliance and performance
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in health & safety or equivalent • Experience in training and compliance assessments • Solid knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation • Proven project management and consultation skills • Valid Ontario Driver's License considered an asset
