In this pivotal role, you will work within Jacobs’ Highways & Roads team. Your primary focus will involve creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models essential for transportation infrastructure projects. Collaborating with engineers will ensure the successful execution of these designs while meeting project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and revise CAD drawings/models for highways and roads
• Assist engineering teams with drafting and document production
• Work with design tools including AutoCAD and Microstation
• Ensure adherence to client and project standards
• Support the resolution of design issues through collaboration
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering Technology diploma or related degree
• Over 3 years of CAD experience in transportation
• Strong knowledge of Ontario highway design standards
• Ability to interpret technical specifications effectively
• Robust organizational and communication skills
