Quorum'sController isdirectly responsiblefor overseeing the company's accounting, financial reporting, planning, treasury, and control functions whileprovidingthe financial insight and guidance needed to support continued growth. By ensuring financial discipline, IFRS-compliant reporting, effective risk management, and meaningful analysis for leaders across the business, this role helps drive informed decisions that support Quorum's strategicobjectivesand long-term success.
Working Capital & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and short- and long-term cash flow forecasting
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and treasury operations
- Optimize working capital across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet items
- Ensure effective controls and visibility over cash and funding positions
Tax Management
- Lead corporate tax compliance and planning activities
- Oversee SR&ED; claims and related documentation and filings
- Identifyand implement tax planning opportunities in compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Providetimely,accuratefinancial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Partner with business leaders to assess performance, investments, and key initiatives
- Monitorfinancial risks and variances, providing clear recommendations to management
Strategic Projects & Integration
- Lead and support ad hoc strategic projects, including M&A; activities and acquisition integration
- Partner cross-functionally on due diligence, financial analysis, process alignment, and integration planning
Financial Reporting
- Ensure thetimelypreparation ofaccuratemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Deliver management reporting and consolidation reporting, and support the portfolio roll-up reporting cycle
- Maintainstrong internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable standards
- Manage the external audit process and related deliverables
- Continuously improvereporting processes, systems, and data quality
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Establishclearobjectives, performance expectations, and accountability
- Build scalable financial processes to support business growth
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accuracy, and continuous improvement
