Job Title: Infrastructure Security Consultant Location: Regina, SK, Canada (On-site) Duration: 12 months (with Possible extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: $90 - $100/hr [CAD] Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional business experience in a technical field is considered an asset. Completion at least one formal course in project management is considered an asset. Certification:
Architecture-related certification, such as TOGAF, SABSA, or other equivalent industry-recognized certifications. Must have Skills:
Demonstrated
full-time professional experience in Information Technology
or a closely related field. Proven experience in
Solutions Architecture, IT Architecture, and/or IT Design . Demonstrated experience performing
IT Architecture responsibilities
across complex technical engagements at a senior level. Proven ability to lead and contribute to
multiple technical engagements as a Senior IT Architect . Strong knowledge and practical experience with recognized
Information Security frameworks , such as
ISO/IEC 27002
or an equivalent industry standard. Demonstrated experience with
DevSecOps practices, operations, and automation
supporting the development and deployment of enterprise products and services. Experience with
multiple architecture methodologies , with the ability to evaluate, compare, and recommend the appropriate methodology based on project requirements. Broad knowledge of
enterprise technologies
and their secure implementation within complex IT environments. Formal training in a
recognized IT design methodology , with demonstrated experience applying the methodology to IT design engagements. Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience with at least
one major architecture methodology , including the ability to articulate its application across relevant projects and engagements. Proven expertise in
solution architecture and design , demonstrated through successful delivery across multiple projects or engagements. Demonstrated ability to apply current
technology trends and industry best practices
across areas such as system integration, data management, technical governance, and enterprise architecture. Proven experience serving as an
IT Architect across the full solution lifecycle , including strategy, planning, architecture/design, implementation, and ongoing management. Robust
incident and problem management leadership
skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues. Role and Responsibilities:
Leading, from a cybersecurity perspective, the upgrade and renewal of Government's critical information technology environments. Key participation in Government's Cybersecurity Maturity Security Program. Key participation in customer initiatives that require cybersecurity oversight. The retirement of legacy environments. Other information security, infrastructure renewal, and security architecture initiatives as assigned by the Cybersecurity and Risk Management Branch.
