Exciting opportunity for a temporary part-time Registered Nurse at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. Provide critical nursing care in the medical short stay unit while working on-site.
In this role with Providence Health Care, you will assess and meet the diverse needs of patients through targeted nursing interventions. Your two years of medical/surgical experience and valid RN registration will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and fostering a secure, inclusive atmosphere at the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and identify patient care needs efficiently
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on evaluations
• Provide crisis management and direct interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care
• Teach and empower patients and families in their health journey
Requirements:
• Current practicing RN registration with BC College
• 2+ years' experience in medical/surgical care
• Strong skills in IV Therapy and CPR
• Effective decision-making and analytical abilities
• Capacity to handle physical demands of nursing
