About the Opportunity

Insight Global is hiring on behalf of a growing metal finishing and powder coating company for a Production & Warehouse Supervisor. This individual will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across the production floor, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and inventory functions while helping implement processes and organization as the company continues to grow.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting employees, improving processes, and ensuring operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment and can balance operational oversight with hands-on support when needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities
- Verify incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring deliveries match packing slips and customer requirements
- Manage inventory levels of powder coatings, packaging materials, and other production supplies
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure production continuity
- Organize warehouse storage areas and implement processes to improve efficiency and workflow
- Support quality control efforts by ensuring jobs are completed according to customer requirements and specifications
- Supervise and coordinate floor employees, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and team members remain productive
- Assist on the production line when required, including supporting powder coating and packaging operations




- Create packing slips, manage invoices, and reconcile deliveries using QuickBooks
- Collaborate closely with operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence
- Evaluate current warehouse and production processes and make recommendations for increased efficiency
- Support future hiring and onboarding efforts as the company expands its production team
- Develop customer-facing relationships over time by supporting order fulfillment and service delivery initiatives

Must-Have Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or operations leadership role
- Experience coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities
- Strong understanding of warehouse organization, inventory control, and logistics processes
- Experience supervising or leading hourly production or warehouse employees
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside the team when required
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar systems for invoicing, packing slips, and order management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Previous experience within a powder coating, metal finishing, manufacturing, or industrial workplace
- Understanding of powder coating processes, materials, and quality control standards
- Experience building teams, implementing processes, and improving operational efficiency
- Experience working in a fast-paced production facility
